Where you freeze your eggs matters. Spring Fertility has completed over 23,000 egg retrievals and thawed more than 3,700 eggs with a 93% thaw success rate across all locations. Our Egg Share program has been a part of Spring since they opened in 2016, and we’ve recently reimagined it to make it even more accessible—helping more families bring their dreams to life.

Eggshare with Nest
1.
Submit an Application
Begin by filling out our donor questionnaire on the Nest website. It helps us get to know you—your health, background, and what inspires you to donate.
2.
AMH Blood Test
We’ll send you a lab order to check your AMH levels. If your results are 3 or higher, you’re ready for the next step.
3.
Consultation with a Provider
You’ll speak with a Spring provider over the phone to discuss your goals, the egg freezing process, and to get all your questions answered.
4.
Your Profile Goes Live & Matching Begin
Once your questionnaire is approved, your donor profile becomes viewable to Spring patients seeking donor eggs. When a family expresses interest, Nest will reach out to begin the matching and screening process.
5.
Screening Process
To make sure you meet all FDA requirements, you’ll complete:
• FDA-required bloodwork and a physical exam in person at a Spring Fertility clinic (don’t worry, we cover the cost of travel!)
• A psychological evaluation
• A session with a genetic counselor to go over genetic screening bloodwork
6.
Legal Agreement
Once all your screenings are complete, you’ll be eligible to donate. From there, you’ll enter into a legal agreement with the intended parents. This covers all terms of the donation and establishes legal parental rights.
7.
You’re Cleared to Donate
When your next period starts, let us know. We’ll share your treatment calendar and coordinate your care. If you’re not near a Spring clinic, you’ll begin locally and travel to Spring about a week before your retrieval. Nest covers travel, hotel, and meals.

Egg Retrieval & What’s Next
The retrieval is a quick 20-minute procedure under anesthesia, followed by a check-up the next day. Out-of-town donors fly home the day after retrieval. Your eggs are stored at Spring for up to 10 years, free of charge, or until you choose to transfer or discard them.
